you know, you’re something like a movie. you don’t fade with time. and, I swear, you see right through me. that’s why i’m thinking this is right. yeah, you’re ever-changing. a saving grace for a weary soul like mine. you introduced me to my favorite band and I play them all the time. they got a song about a cripple and it reminds me of the night that my heart was racing, my hands were shaking when your lips met mine. time has no end. it’s all just irrelevant like all who came and went. god, this life is heavensent now that I found you. I don’t know how you’re so familiar. we must’ve met in another life. I know you well, I know your every hurt ‘cause your melody sounds like mine. you know my heart was breaking when I was searching. you took so long to find. the other night I talked to Jesus. I told Him what’s been on my mind. It was a one way conversation. He didn’t do me any favors this time. I wondered what would happen if I asked Him to bring you home tonight. I wish He’d bring you home tonight.
